The Unique Benefits of Using ECOgent

Using ECOgent with Bleach

ECOgent when diluted is compatible with Borax and household bleach.

ECOgent when diluted with Borax can replace the necessity to use bleach. To boost the cleaning and destaining properties of ECOgent, dilute ECOgent 60 ml to 1 litre of warm water and add 1/4 cup or 2 ounces of Borax

Use to remove difficult carpet stains such as red wine etc. and to deep clean carpets.

Use to clean and destain counter tops.

Use to clean and control odour from garbage bins, litter boxes, coolers, refrigerators, washrooms, etc.

Not recommended for outdoor cleaning applications.

Laboratory studies are under way to confirm the effectiveness of ECOgent and Borax as a laundry cleaning system.

ECOgent is compatible when mixed with diluted household bleach (sodium hypochlorite).

Bleach labels recommend the addition of 240 ml per 4 litres of water for cleaning and destaining we recommend only 60 ml; of household bleach in 4 litres of water and 60 ml of ECOgent allowing for effective cleaning and bleaching using 75 % less bleach..

Caution: Household bleach is a hazardous product and if you are currently using sodium hypochlorite for cleaning and destaining we recommend use of ECOgent and Borax solution.
Our intent is not to promote the use of sodium hypochlorite but to reduce the amount used.

Please follow all precautionary statements on chlorine bleach label.
