EVERYDAY CLEANING WITH ECOGENT

Kitchens 
Restoring kitchen sinks, taps and countertops: Apply ECOgent concentrate undiluted. Let stand, and then agitate with scrubbing pad or sponge. The more aggressive pad works best, the least aggressive scratches least.
Routine cleaning of kitchen walls, appliances, windows, mirrors, garbage cans: Use ECOgent concentrate diluted 1 to 40 or Spray on ECOgent Spray Wipe cleaner and wipe dry. For tough soils, allow to penetrate and agitate with scrubbing sponge if necessary.
Bucket cleaning of floors and carpets: Sweep floors or vacuum carpets thoroughly. Dilute ECOgent 1/2 ounce to 1 ounce per gallon of water (14 to 28 ml to 4 litres of water). Use sponge mop. Best method is to dip mop in cleaning solution, wring out excess liquid and scrub carpet or floor. Diluting ECOgent at concentrations greater than recommended may require surfaces to be rinsed.

Bathrooms
Daily cleaning of bathroom surfaces: Dilute ECOgent 25 ml per 4 litres (1 ounce to 40 ounces) of water.
Toilet bowl: Use ECOgent undiluted.
To remove accumulated soils from showers, bathtubs and fixtures: Apply ECOgent undiluted allow to penetrate and scrub if necessary with scouring pad and rinse. Repeat if necessary.
Removing mold and mildew: Apply ECOgent undiluted and allow to penetrate, agitate surface with scrubbing sponge and rinse repeat if necessary.

Floors

Carpet stain removal: use ECOgent Spray Wipe cleaner or concentrate diluted 1 to 40 spray stain allow to penetrate blot with paper towel or white absorbent cloth when stain appears to have dissolved re-spray stained area with water and blot with paper towel or absorbent cloth.
Cleaning carpets with hot water using Extractor: Spray traffic areas with ECOgent Spray Wipe or concentrate diluted 1 to 40. Allow to penetrate and rinse with extractor. Dilute ECOgent 14 to 28 ml per 4litres of water in extractor ( ½ to 1 ounce per gallon of water.

Washing Dishes
Hand dishwashing: Use ECOgent concentrate as you would any other dishwashing liquid. Ideal for camping, cottagers or people on septic systems. Note: ECOgent is not as thick or as foamy as regular dish detergents.

Washing Clothes
Laundry: ECOgent Concentrate does not perform as regular detergents, however it will do an adequate job in environmentally sensitive areas. Use ½ to 1 cup for large loads and apply undiluted to remove stains prior to washing.
ECOgent can be used for cleaning any surface that water alone won't damage.

OUTDOOR CLEANING WITH ECOGENT

Car and vehicle cleaning
Bucket car washing: Dilute ECOgent concentrate 1 ounce per gallon (28 ml per 4 litres) of water. use to clean interior and exterior of vehicle including windows, carpets etc.
Interior spray wipe of spills and glass: Use ECOgent Spray wipe or ECOgent concentrate diluted 1 part to 40 parts water.
Exterior removal of tar, aluminum wheel soils (carbon, grease): Apply ECOgent concentrate undiluted allow to penetrate, agitate with cloth or sponge and rinse.

Patio Furniture
For accumulated discolouration, apply ECOgent undiluted, allow to penetrate soils, agitate with sponge or scouring sponge and rinse.
Routine cleaning of patio furniture and exterior surfaces: Dilute ECOgent 1 to 40, apply to surface, allow to penetrate and wipe off or rinse (or use ECOgent Spray wipe cleaner).

Vinyl, Wood and Concrete
Removing water and mold stains exterior wood and vinyl surfaces apply ECOgent undiluted and allow to penetrate surfaces thoroughly agitate surface with brush or scrubbing sponge and rinse repeat if necessary.
Cleaning exterior concrete and ceramic surfaces: Dilute ECOgent concentrate 1 to 40 apply to surface and allow to penetrate, agitate with scrub brush and rinse.
Removing stains from concrete and other surfaces: Apply ECOgent undiluted allow to penetrate apply more ECOgent to ensure surface is completely saturated and scrub with brush and rinse. Repeat if necessary when surface is dry.
