Commercial, Industrial and Institutional Cleaning

Routine damp dusting of furniture, walls, windows etc.: Dilute ECOgent 28 ml per 4 litres of water. (1 ounce to gallon).
Daily cleaning of bathroom surfaces: Dilute ECOgent 25 ml per 4 litres of water (1 ounce to 40 ounces).
Toilet bowl and Urinal cleaning: Use ECOgent undiluted.
To remove accumulated soils from showers, bathtubs and fixtures: Apply ECOgent undiluted allow to penetrate and scrub if necessary with scouring pad and rinse. Repeat if necessary.
Light duty general purpose windows, counters, floors, garbage bins, etc.: Use ECOgent Universal Spray Wipe or ECOgent concentrate diluted 1 to 40.
Spray and wipe dry, for difficult soils allow to sit longer and/or scrub with scouring pad and wipe dry.
Heavy duty general purpose cleaning greasy soils or areas heavily soiled or cleaned infrequently: Dilute ECOgent 10 parts water to 1 part ECOgent. Surfaces should be rinsed or wiped with damp cloth or sponge.

Hard Floor Surfaces
Damp mopping floors: Dilute ECOgent ½ to 1 ounce per gallon (14 to 28 ml to 4 litres ) of water.
Light scrubbing floors to clean grout or to prepare floors for refinishing: Dilute ECOgent concentrate 40 parts water to 1 part ECOgent. Mop over floor and allow to penetrate and scrub with pad or brush remove and rinse.
Difficult marks such as tar, adhesive etc.: Apply ECOgent undiluted and scrub with abrasive pad, remove and rinse.

Carpet Cleaning with ECOgent
Carpet spotting: Use ECOgent Universal Spray Wipe or ECOgent concentrate diluted 40 parts water to 1 part ECOgent. Spray stain and allow to penetrate blot with paper towel or absorbent white cloth when stain appears to have dissolved re-spray area with water and blot.
Carpet pad or bonnet cleaning: Dilute ECOgent 28 ml to 4 litres (1 ounce per gallon of water) always thoroughly vacuum carpet prior to cleaning. Surface cleaning of carpets with pads or bonnets removes surface soils only, carpets should also be cleaned occasionally with hot water extraction method.
Hot water extraction of carpets: Always thoroughly dry vacuum carpet prior to cleaning.
Traffic Lane Pre-spray: Dilute ECOgent 40 parts water to 1 ECOgent.
Spray carpet traffic areas, allow to penetrate. Agitation with carpet rake helps to loosen imbedded fibres allowing cleaner to penetrate soils more effectively. Rinse with extractor using plain water or add 1 ounce (28ml) ECOgent per gallon of water.
For fine fibres, or if in doubt, pre-test in inconspicuous areas.

Cleaning Food Processing or Handling Establishments
ECOgent is the ideal choice for general cleaning of environmental surfaces in facilities with large staff and general public use.
ECOgent can be used to clean most surfaces with little risk to employees or general public.
One dilution can be used to clean most surfaces, dilute ECOgent 40 parts water to one part ECOgent use to spray and wipe all surfaces including glass and display counters and washroom fixtures. Direct food contact surfaces require rinse with potable water.
For facilities with greasy soils: Dilute ECOgent 10 parts warm or hot water spray or foam and allow to penetrate. Agitate and rinse prior to sanitizing.
Floor cleaning: Dilute ECOgent 28 ml (1 ounce) per gallon (4 litres) of water.
ECOgent demonstrates outstanding ability to degrade under all environmental conditions. Removes the problem of environmental loading from cleaning solution discharge.

ECOgent for Commercial Use in Exterior Surface Cleaning
ECOgent’s ability to rapidly degrade under all environmental conditions, combined with its very low aquatic toxicity makes ECOgent the product of choice for exterior surface cleaning.
Commercial window cleaning: Dilute ECOgent 14 ml (1/2 ounce) per gallon of water.
Cleaning commercial vehicles: Use ECOgent to wash vehicles at 28 ml (1 ounce) per gallon of water.
ECOgent for vehicle interior surface cleaning: Use ECOgent Universal Spray Wipe or ECOgent concentrate diluted 40 parts water to 1 part ECOgent. Use to clean glass upholstery and carpets.
To remove road tar, grease and carbon on wheel rims: Apply ECOgent undiluted, allow to penetrate and wipe with cloth or sponge, then rinse.
Exterior building cleaning: Dilute ECOgent 40 parts water 1 part ECOgent. Apply to surface allow to penetrate agitate surface with brush and rinse.
